Connect your AI app to Archboard
Archboard runs a remote MCP server. Add it to your AI app once, sign in and choose what the app can reach, and your agent can list, read, create and edit your diagrams live on the canvas.

How connecting works
Every app follows the same three steps. Sign-in uses OAuth, so there is no API key to create or paste.
- Add the server to your AI app
In your AI app’s connector or MCP settings, add Archboard as a remote MCP server with this URL. Some apps call it a custom connector.
MCP server URLhttps://getarchboard.app/mcp - Sign in and choose access
Your app opens Archboard. Sign in with Google or GitHub, pick the organizations and workspaces it can use, choose read, edit, or delete for each, and give it a name.
- Ask for a diagram
Ask your agent to draw or update a diagram, then open it in Archboard to watch the changes arrive live.
Try asking
- Draw our checkout service on Kubernetes with Postgres and Redis.
- Add a cache next to checkout-api in my Payments diagram.
- Undo your last change.
Your AI app needs to support remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in.
Using another AI app?
Any AI app that can add a remote MCP server and sign in with OAuth as a public client, without a client secret, can connect to Archboard. The AI agents page has quick setup for more apps, and the MCP documentation covers authorization, tools and errors.
